World Fighters Secret Quests — All NPC Locations and Permanent Buffs
Last updated: — Last verified:
The World Fighters secret quests system is a set of side quest NPCs that hand out permanent account buffs. The Release QOL patch on 2026-04-24 added four side quests with permanent buffs, each tied to a specific NPC across the Lobby, Zone 1, Zone 3, and Zone 6 [source_021, source_015] (fact_044, fact_055). This page lists every confirmed side quest NPC, where to find them, and what each side quest unlocks.
What is a side quest in World Fighters?
A side quest in World Fighters is an optional NPC interaction that grants a permanent buff once completed. Unlike main zone progression, a side quest does not gate the next zone; it just permanently improves your account. The four currently confirmed secret quests come from the official StarX Trello "Side Quest Location/Buff" list [source_015] and the Release QOL patch notes posted in #update-logs [source_021] (fact_044). Community NPC-locations footage cross-references each spawn point [source_023].
All confirmed side quest NPCs
Four secret quest NPCs are documented as of 2026-04-29. Each of these side quests grants a permanent buff once completed.
| Zone | NPC | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Lobby | Kiba | First side quest most players unlock; works as the on-ramp tutorial for the secret quests system. |
| Zone 1 | Jinbei | Pirate-themed side quest in the first combat zone. |
| Zone 3 | Mr. Satan | Dragon Ball reference NPC; quest tied to the Zone 3 storyline arc. |
| Zone 6 | Rimuru | Slime-themed side quest located in the Tempest Federation area of Zone 6. |
Lobby — Kiba
Kiba is the first side quest NPC most players will see. The quest sits in the lobby (the spawn hub before the zone portals), so it is also the natural starting point for the secret quests system. Zone 1 — Jinbei
Jinbei is a pirate-themed side quest NPC in Zone 1. Find him after entering the Zone 1 portal from the lobby. Use our zones overview to confirm Zone 1 is unlocked on your account.
Zone 3 — Mr. Satan
Mr. Satan is the Zone 3 side quest NPC and a clear Dragon Ball reference. Zone 3 is the third combat zone in the standard progression order.
Zone 6 — Rimuru
Rimuru is the Zone 6 side quest NPC, themed after the Slime franchise and located in the Tempest Federation area of Zone 6. Tempest Federation itself was added as a zone storyline destination in Release Pt.2 (2026-04-22) [source_021] (fact_043).
Zone storyline quests (Jura Forest, Tempest Federation, Sorcerers Academy)
Secret quests sit alongside a separate set of zone storyline quests added across the launch patches. These are not the same as the side quest NPCs above; they are zone-tied questlines:
- Jura Forest Quest — added in Release Pt.2 (2026-04-22) [source_021] (fact_043).
- Tempest Federation Quest — added in Update 1 (2026-04-26) [source_021] (fact_022).
- Sorcerers Academy Quest — added in Update 1 PT.2 (2026-04-29) [source_021] (fact_040).

How to claim and stack permanent buffs
- Travel to the listed zone.
Use the lobby zone portal to reach the correct zone, or browse the zones overview for unlock requirements.
- Look for the overhead marker.
Each side quest NPC carries an overhead marker. Approach and interact to start the quest.
- Complete the quest objective.
Side quest objectives are short and one-time. Once finished, the permanent buff is added to your account.
- Stack across all four NPCs.
Hit Kiba (Lobby), Jinbei (Zone 1), Mr. Satan (Zone 3) and Rimuru (Zone 6) to stack all four permanent buffs on the same account.
- Combine with crafted Passives.
From Update 1 onward, 100% crafted Passives can be selected directly [source_021]. See our mechanics guide for how Passives interact with these side quest buffs.
World Fighters Secret Quests FAQs
- Are World Fighters secret quests repeatable?
- No. The Release QOL patch notes describe these side quests as granting permanent buffs once completed. They are one-time unlocks per account; treat them as permanent rather than daily until the patch notes say otherwise.
- Do side quest buffs persist across servers?
- Yes. Side quest buffs are tied to your account, so once a quest is completed the buff carries over to any server you join.
- How do I know if I've finished a secret quest?
- Each side quest NPC has an overhead marker. The marker disappears for a completed quest, and the corresponding permanent buff appears in your account buffs list.
